The Ghost of TED
At DEN the other day, I noticed at the departures curb for skycap check-in a lonely, battered, round sign that says:
Check in here. Yes, here. Those in the know would recognize this as a sad reminder of the "glory" TED days. Rar. |
What's amusing is that the sign is intended to be playful, but if you imagine a harried LAX agent pointing at it and muttering, it's anything but. "Oh for chrissa… ma'am check in here. Yes, here. Idiots." :)

At the PHX airport last month on the sign that listed the airlines for the United terminal it also listed Ted as an airlines. Reminded me how happy I was to be flying regular mainline PHX-ORD.

The shuttle bus from the economy parking at IAD still says (it's a recording) "TED" as one of the airlines for the terminal.

Yeah, the Hertz shuttle bus ride at DEN still has an announcement that the first stop is for American Airlines, Lufthansa, United Airlines, T-E-D Airlines, Air Canada, and British Airways.
