New interactive route map on united.com

http://www.united.com/page/middlepag...3,1019,00.html

I don't visit this section of united.com often, but it looks "new" to me... Check it out!

Excellent, thanks OP! I've been hoping they'd put out something like this.

myperks Feb 20, 2010 11:09 am

nice feature...

It's nice looking, but having UX flights shown as "Partner flight" is kind of odd.

Very cool

Surprised no one has mentioned the lack of an +mr (mileage run option) :D

MayorMcKnife Feb 20, 2010 11:27 am

Nice feature. I can finally stop dredging thru timetables to find where UA flies non-stop.

The map shows Taipei, Taiwan, Province of China......:td:
If they really want to put this name on it....
Maybe they should change the flag on .bomb-Taiwan too.....

In addition, the map doesn't show the full name of Korea.
It's like Seoul, Korea, Republic of [ICN]
Republic of what?????

Hope they can correct it soon.

Pretty cool, but can be a bit misleading. When you click on MIA, it makes it look like there is a direct UA flight to LAX, yet when you type MIA and LAX you'll see that you get routed through MCO.

They forgot MEL. SYD is shown, but no MEL.

I clicked on MEL on the map and it showed a UA blue line to SYD.

Nonstops only. MEL is one stop, as is SIN.

Actually, I think it also draws connections.

For example ORD-SGN outputs lines via SFO and HKG, even though it's not the same flight number all the way through.

I've been waiting for this forever! ^ About time, I believe AA is the last remaining legacy not to have an interactive route map.

My hometown of DSM is neither in the East or the West USA maps...???
