Just checked on united.com one moment ago.
Chose outbound date of Nov 5, return Nov 12, LAX-TPE, biz-class.

D fare, $2,579, flight#960 & #845 (lax-sfo-tpe) for outbound, return on #844 & #806 (tpe-sfo-lax). Confirmed biz-class. Side note, even though #960 & #806 are two-cabin craft, it appears those flights priced as business-class.

LarryU here on FT has been posting these runs for awhile as a way to save on domestic transcons.

Great, but it would cost me another $1700 to get TPE-BLR in coach on Air India or another carrier, as well as 2 more connections.

$2600 was already a stretch.

Just got upgraded on the way back, but still no hope for SFO-SIN
