Lounge access at CPH?

With SAS no longer part of Star Alliance, is there a lounge at CPH that United Gold members can use?

Lounge Finder - Star Alliance

Appears to be only airline specific business class contract lounges presently

WineCountry: Yes, I went to that site, but found it unclear. Maybe out of date, as it lists Star Alliance airlines for the SAS lounge.

If you have Priority Pass...

there are 2 lounges.

Yep, the departure of SAS from Star Alliance makes this less good for United *G/business class.

What is Priority Pass?

Priority Pass...

It's a card that provides lounge access at 1000's of lounges around the world, some airline-affiliated and some independent. Most/many of us have it as a benefit of a credit card (mine with Chase Sapphire Reserve). The benefit ranges from the lowest level of membership with a fee for every club access, or fee-free access for a fixed number of visits per year, or unlimited access (Sapphire Reserve, which also provides access to the small, but nice, collection of Sapphire Lounges). Generally, membership covers 2 people, but the Sapphire-linked PP provides for 3.

Just search for "Priority Pass" for membership details (after checking to see if your credit card includes membership...mostly with higher annual fee credit cards). There is also a Lounge Finder option which allows you to see what lounges are available with membership.

Some *A carriers have contracted with SAS. Typically just business class passengers. Not *G

To to clarify, LH has included *G in their contract LH arrangement? All *G (departing on LHG?) or just LH *G?

Can't speak for CPH, but in OSL access to the SK lounge is limited to LHG pax departing in Business Class, and SEN. No access for *G in Economy.

Business only.

So we are in agreement

Per https://www.staralliance.com/en/lounge-finder

These carriers have contracted with SAS (likely business only)

And these with Aviator Lounge (but the strange lack of location and amenities)
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...31ecc23fd4.png

But to the original query, it does not appear an economy UA *G has lounge access presently at CPH departing on other *A carriers.

Chiming in from down in NZ. I think I asked this on the LH or TG forum, and the answer was ‘yes’ - *G in Y can use the SAS lounge. But I think that was an assessment, and not reported success. I have some economy flights in July and have a departure from CPH so was interested in this question.

I’ll mosey back for a look and see if I can confirm anything.

Yes please update this based on actual experience. *G at contract lounge is a YMMV situation.

cfischer Jan 30, 2025 3:57 pm

The question is not, can *G in Y use the SK lounge - you need to add the airline the *G is flying since this is airline specific. TAP, for example, will allow SAG lounge access at CPH: https://www.flytap.com/en-us/manage-...extras/lounges
very complicated and requires look-up at the operating airline.
