Valid entry reported as Invalid Flight Date? Other flight search invalid data issues
On their website using a Chromebook I keep getting correct error and showing an invalid flight date. Have used several dates and routes. Anyone else?
|
The two standard browser steps are
- Try another browser - Clear the United cookies for your browser |
I get this error a lot when I use the link to edit the search after selecting flights. Reselecting the same dates fixes the problem until next time.

Multi-city booking tool not working on web
Is anyone else having this problem? For two days now, I haven't been able to get the multi-city booking tool to work on the web. It keeps saying that I've entered an invalid date (which I haven't). Works fine on the app.

Works for me.
You aren't by any chance coming back from Asia and having your second flight leaving the "same day"? I've had it fail on things like that long ago. |
Nothing so exotic; just domestic routes. And it's working okay today.
|
Same thing was happening to me last week, especially if I made any changes to the multi-city search. Had to close out the window and start over. I've encountered that before.
|
It happened to me as well. Seemed to be confined to making changes to an existing search. Starting the search over was still working though.
|
It was wonky for me for several days recently. Was driving me mad!
|
Has been like that for me for a long time. Still is. You just have to respecify the date when you make changes to your search.
|
Ask to be transferred to web support….

Hit this as well a few days ago. Remove the leg(s) that it's complaining about and re-add it, and it works (ie, the actual "remove this flight" or whatever it is button for that leg).

consistent error than doesn't allow me to seach for flights
I log in, chose all the items and search - get a big red box at the top that says
"Please correct the following error: on the next line is only a period" When I look the date box is red and says select a valid date (but the date is valid from the drop down calendar) It does matter if I select miles or money, change from/to always get the same error. Sometimes IF I can get to advanced search it will work, but I can't always get there. UA had closed their web support and agent who is trying to help has no clue Windows laptop, chrome browser. Any help? (already deleted cookies, etc) Used to work fine, but this has been going on for months |
Seems like some kind of text/character-set error, perhaps.
Can you search by constructing the URL manually? Try the following: https://www.united.com/en/us/fsr/cho...tmatches&tqp=R |

Very strange :so confused: I really appreciate your help |
