My flight from yesterday has not posted… but the day of departure upgrade from said flight posted. Go figure.

Still nothing here from a flight late on the 28th - usually posts immediately upon landing.

ContinentalFan Mar 1, 2024 5:57 am

My overnight, LAX/ORD posted as normal. There’s still nothing about the flight that should have posted on the 28th/29th.

Are you doing mileage runs to reach 4MM? Is there a leap year bonus for butt-in-seat miles? haha.

Extra data point: flight today posted as expected.

getting comical ... trying retro-credit ... telling me I need to wait 7 days for 'partner flights' ... UA mainline flight was requested.

Same - outbound on 25th posted immediately; return yesterday (Feb 29th) hasn't posted yet.

The page that says it can still take up to 48 hours? And to give it up to 5 days to post before requesting retro-credit?

I don’t think anything too unusual is happening. UA flights now mostly post in flight or soon after landing, but occasionally later and rarely not at all. *A flights are frequently much later.

what is clearly happening, at least with the FlyerTalk crowd is that we’ve learned to babysit our accounts / postings closely for undercrecits and misses, so we notice and fret over the delays.

I tell you that lemonade thread has ruined my life.

That is still my favorite thread. It motivated me to pursue 3MM.
There are some differences in upgrade priority between 3MMer and 4MMers, namely, PN vs. PZ spaces. But I am not going to ruin my life to pursue 4MM because I will fly less and less with time. As long as I can use all 280 Pluspoints each year, I am happy with my 3MM status. If I buy PremiumPlus tickets, the domestic flights will have a good chance for upgrade, too (PN space). If I fly to China during Chinese New Year, there are plenty of PZ spaces (no businessmen will fly to China during CNY) so that 280 Pluspoints will be spent for me and Mrs. Kmxu.
Happy running!

Thanks. I do love to fly. If I reach 4 million, it’s going to be very anticlimactic.

All’s well again. The OGG/LAX miles and PQPs posted shortly after I arrived at PBI. All’s right with the world again.

The RDMs, PQPs and PQF for my return to LAX on February 28th posted this morning. :)
