When do credit card PQPs post?
 

Now that all co-branded cards are eligible, who is going to be the first to have spent $12k in January on their Chase card and gotten their 500 PQPs? There has been discussion in the Presidential Plus and FPQM threads, but I haven't seen anyone post that they received theirs. What does it look like in your MP account and how long from statement closing did it take? https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...r/qualify.html says 6 weeks but with Presidential Plus it only was taking 8-10 days for FLEX.

How long does it take for the 500 pqp's to show up after the $12k spend? Should it show up after the billing cycle you hit 12k with the miles from that statement? Mine didn't this month. It would be nice soon as i'd get to silver a week quicker.

Yes within 72 hours after the bill closes, same or within 24 hours of when the miles post.

Make sure you actually hit $12k first.

also if you had credits like returned something, that may be netted against new purchases. Annual fee may not count either.

Yeah, it looks like returns/credits from ua purchases have me $32 short if the annual fee counts. Oh well, it will help get me to gold faster, the joys of first year consulting.

Mine haven't posted yet despite having more than 12K in net purchases since 1/1 in the statement that closed in January. I called and confirmed that I had earned them but was told 6-8 weeks after statement closed.

I had 500 PQPs credited on Feb 14. I was surprised to see it appear that soon. I honestly don't know what the rules are for PQP award on my card now. Previously, I was able to earn up to 10000 PQM per year.

I received 500 PQP on 1/24, My statement closes on the 17th of the month.

That’s a longer lag than I had of ~3 days. Perhaps Jan was new so things were getting cleaned up in back end systems? My Feb 2 statement PQP hit by Feb 5.

Is it different, I guess, then how they handled PQD waivers, where spend was typically updated weekly (on MyStatus), with the waiver posted once that updated? I think it was typically on Tuesday or maybe overnight Monday?

Probably closer to how purchase PQMs were posted which was related to billing cycle.

I didn’t know this was a thing, I checked and see 500 PQP were deposited on 2/7. I’m still confused by this new program and given I’m a year away from retirement, which will decrease my travel by 90%+ I’m not too worried about trying to maximize the benefits.

I got an email from the card saying my 2020 spend was ~13k, still dont have the pqp. Seeing the emailed annoyed me more. The longer it drags out, the dumber the benefit.

Another point, I got my 500 PQP on the day my statement closed in early February. That may have been a coincidence because I just barely cleared 12k.
