Just received 10 GPU deposited, but why? {fixed by UA :-( }

Barely made the 1K for next year this month, but just received 10 GPU deposited today in my UA account. Do we now get 10 GPUs for 1K? how and/or when are they going to convert to the points system?

Did you hit 200k PQM? That would explain the 4 extra GPU.

It's a sin (and a crime) if they would take them back.

Frankly I think they should give 10 for 1K with the new qualification rules. 18k + $3000 for each extra is the most extreme aspect of the changes.

OP: you’re not the only person that this appears to have occurred to, but one doesn’t look a gift horse in the mouth...

I am very excited to see how many I may receive when I hit my PQD in December! I was thinking it would be 8 but perhaps a higher number????

Odds are this error will be quickly rectified. Especially now that it's been posted on FT

better to not say anything OR POST anything - could ruin it for everyone!

Well, now that it's been posted already ...

I have reported elsewhere about a random GPU appearing in my account (maybe once or twice).

However, I just checked my accounts from grins .... and noticed eight unanticipated GPUs in my account. And they don't expire until 31 January 2021!!! I have crossed no thresholds as of late (well, excepting hitting platinum a couple of weeks ago). All I did yesterday was fly SMF-LAX (I did purchase a PQM accelerator and completed my Mile Play activity, which hasn't registered yet).

The odd GPU or two I've noticed in the past haven't, to my recollection, been pulled back. I wonder what will happen here.

No, that would be poetic justice for the person that posted about it on FT. It's sometimes better to keep quiet about certain things.

Looks like you got one of mine: I seem to be missing one (not sure why exactly, can't be bothered to trace it back), but I was expecting one more than I have in my account.

Please send me one of yours, c/o narvik @ Missing1GPU

Are the extras in lieu of the RPU that won’t be given next year ?
