I didn't see anyone mentioning having Nexus. It's not common unless you live near the border and/or cross extremely frequently.

For TPAC travel? In the OPs case fro YVR? Sorry, I don't see this either.

AC has the worst on time performance of any airline in North America. It actually was one of the worst in the world for a while.
So yes its TPAC travel is part of that statistic.

Have you considered EVA?

DEN-SEA-TPE-ICN

I would choose EVA Transpacific long haul in J over AC, OZ or UA.

Not arguing Nexus is less common than GE. but Nexus membership includes GE and pre-check for $50 per 5 years so it's worth the hassle if you can find yourself near an enrollment center. Plus you get a valuable land crossing credential if you have ever sat in those lines. I just re-enrolled in DC this spring for instance with their mobile enrollment team so it's not just on the border.

just a lounge point, EVA's offering of the BA lounge in SEA is blah. i would route through either SFO or YVR (AC's new international lounge is very nice). I do like EVA's inflight service (best out there) but the bed is very hard even with the pad. YMMV.
