3 trips >$250 for 4200 mi. I'll probably hit it without trying, but really?! With devaluation, this and the prior one (something like 2.5k miles) are more irritating than incentivizing.

Does anyone know if the trips have to be round trips? I seem to remember seeing that on previous go-rounds of this promotion, but I can't see anything in the T&C. Anyone have any experience with this?

(I have a likely one-way that would probably meet my requirements so am curious on this point...)

My T&C say in point number 4 under "Qualifying trip requirements": “Trip” is defined as each unique travel itinerary as documented by United with a confirmation number.

I think that a booked one-way meets the requirement with no problem. In the last MilePlay, I even had my requirement of one trip met when I only completed the outbound part of one trip. Since it was a Business Class TPAC ticket, it easily met the price requirement. However, I doubt that outbound and inbound would have qualified for two trips if two trips were my requirements.

On a single PNR, no; on separate PNRs, yes

2x $500 for 24k. Assuming I can travel, will make this I've easily. We have a very ill pet (and for us, our pets are our kids), so it will depend on her getting better. I suppose I need the miles and $$ anyway, so maybe a couple of same-day turns will check the box...

Thanks, Zorak, StuckinIth, and WineCountryUA for your answers to my 1-way flight question. ^

Good luck to everyone.

3 trips of at least $175 for 2,500 points. Not exactly anything exciting.

BThumme Jun 17, 2019 1:59 pm

4 trips of $225 for 10k miles. I have one trip coming up that I could book as two one ways.

Can anyone confirm if this technique (i.e., use an existing ticket toward a new ticket - same route or different route) would work? I know such a change keeps the old PNR but does the ticket date change to the date of the change?

I got a lucrative "1 trip > $500 for 20k miles" offer and am considering this.

Thanks

6000 miles for three trips booked. Whoopeeding.

WRR8822 Jun 17, 2019 7:39 pm

5 trips, minimum $300 each, for only 8,500 miles. Quite a shite proposition if I say so myself.

onthesam Jun 17, 2019 7:40 pm

@WRR8822 welcome to FT!

If it makes you feel better, mine was 3 trips @ >$1,100+ = 9,900 miles...
