I received the following offer which seems quite reasonable as I haven't flown much UA in 2018.

Book and take 2 trips by January 31, 2019 to get 15,000 bonus miles.

Minimum Spend $225 per trip.

A serious question for those who might know... is selecting from a grid of offers, no matter how transparently stupid many of the high spend, low reward offers are, really a valid market research approach? I understand wanting to find a boundary, but this technique seems so lazy given well-known mileage valuations. Even the name, "Mile Play" is annoying -- as if my "self managed" travel spend is some kind of game.

On the other hand, although each iteration of the promotion fills me with even more contempt for United, they haven't actually caused me to book away, so with no immediate adverse effects maybe this is the easiest for them.

Haven't been eligible for a promo in years. I would have easily hit any of these paid premium cabin ones.

The range of RDMs is insane.

Book and take 5 trips by January 31, 2019 to get 5,100 bonus miles.
Minimum Spend $125 per trip.

Fortunately I saw the offer 22 hours AFTER I had booked some of my January travel. Immediately went online and cancelled 3 tickets and rebooked today. Wish it was for more RDM, but free is free.
I was not so lucky with the last promo & missed it by 1 flight.

Book 1 trip in “premium cabin” ($1100. Min) get 44K miles.

I may do this as UA miles are easy to redeem *slides eyes towards Delta*

"Book and take a trip 3 times by January 31, 2019 to get 16,000 bonus award miles"

minimum $225 per trip. For me this seems like a decent deal, especially considering I could just book individual legs instead of round trips.

1 trip ($250 min): 4100 miles
Fly Y+ once: 800 miles

So the total for both is 9800 miles. Not too shabby. I don't fly UA much (1-2x per year).

What exactly counts towards the $250 minimum? The explanation in the terms left me more confused than before. Is it just base fare + carrier surcharge? Will the upgrade to Y+ count as part of the fare? The terms just say "paid upgrades" count.. I don't know if Y+ is a paid upgrade though, or just a seat selection fee. Is it just anything that earns PQD?

4 trips of at least $175 to get 2,500 points.

Too bad I had December already booked. Looks like I'll be 1 trip short.

I received an offer to take three trips ($175/each) and earn 5,200 miles. FS-Mom, who is currently UA GM, received an offer for 1,600 miles if she flew one ticket ($200) and checked a bag. FS-Dad, who is currently Gold and becomes Platinum in a few weeks, received an offer to "Purchase and fly in Economy Plus" for 1,000 RDMs. Not too sure about the offer as he gets E+ for free from his status...the T&Cs don't really specify if he just has to buy a Y ticket or has to buy Y and then buy up to E+
