Starring Captain James T. Kirk, iirc.

PMUA did it in E+, blocking exit rows for a subset of elites only if I recall. Has been 5 years though.

Good to know. I was actually referring to the thread subject - J-seat blocking.

Was curious, because I’ve always heard the tales of pmUA occasionally pre-emptively blocking 15AB / 15GH on the upper deck (unlimited legroom seats behind the exit row), and 1A/J in F on the 14/72/260 747-400 OB configuration for super-elites and other VIP-types.

1K's can buy some pretty cheap tickets.
The Majority of Late High Fare ticket buyers don't even use the seat. High Fare Buyers and High Fare Travelers are 2 Different Entities.

J or F seats should be treated like this.

No more upgrades.........ever. Status is irrelevant.

Wanna sit here ? Pay for it. Improve the product 10X what it is now.

Cash or XX,XXX miles per seat. Full stop.Fly with empty seats as required. Reconfigure cabins as necessary.

Anyone remember when PM-UA would block the middle seat next to 1Ks? Every time you changed seat assignments your shadow would follow you around the plane.

I've regularly been getting that this year. GS have reported getting 2 blocked. Seems like some routes (possibly to/from SFO? other?) may have limitations on this??
