Was curious, because I’ve always heard the tales of pmUA occasionally pre-emptively blocking 15AB / 15GH on the upper deck (unlimited legroom seats behind the exit row), and 1A/J in F on the 14/72/260 747-400 OB configuration for super-elites and other VIP-types.

J or F seats should be treated like this.
No more upgrades.........ever. Status is irrelevant.

I've regularly been getting that this year. GS have reported getting 2 blocked. Seems like some routes (possibly to/from SFO? other?) may have limitations on this??
