The airline or travel agent who issued the ticket.

Whoever you bought your original ticket with. I'm assuming since you are posting this on the United board it would be United.

The thing that I would do before calling (if possible) is to go online and see what other options are available. Have your choices figured out before calling, otherwise you will be flying blind when on the phone, and at the mercy of the agent.

Problem is there is nothing much at the moment. Im assuming a 10 min connection in SIN wont do it

Call to find out what options you have and yes you are correct a 10 minute connection in SIN won't work. Surprised that you were even given something like that.

I'm not sure the UA agent can easily check that the BR TPE-YYZ flight was moved early. The view of the reservation will still say the original time since PNRs are not updated with real-time day of departure flight info.

If you can't get this changed by UA, I'm afraid BR might have to rebook you.

I am guessing BR is getting flights out early somehow to avoid the incoming typhoon.
TPE-SFO/JFK/YYZ/LAX are all leaving a couple hours early on Sep 13.

Congratulations, you get a free overnight in Taiwan! Enjoy your stay and hope you have a great adventure.

Realistically I would ask BR when you get to TPE -- they'll probably put you onto TPE-SFO-YYZ if there's any inventory.

I know nothing about SIN airport, but I'm really confident that a MINUS 10-minute connection like that one is a no-go at any airport.

Even at TPE, where the -10-minute connection actually occurs.

No flight availability through multiple routes on the 13th. Managed to change to SIN-NRT-YYZ

NRT-YYZ on the 14th. 12hour stop over in SIN

There is a typhoon near TPE so BR moved the flight up. They need to fix this for OP

Glad things worked out to your satisfaction ^

Sounds like the storm made a storm of its own with schedule changes.

And of course lot of Monday morning armchair quarterbacking after the change that fixed things
