Quite a bit narrower, in fact. I find 77W considerably more comfortable.

It flew in from Everett yesterday, so it's brand new. Enjoy!

the FAs have mentioned several times this is the very first flight for this aircraft. Everything smells new and nothing’s broken....yet! I think it’s the first time I’ve been on a brand new plane.
on a separate note, the seat is quite nice!

On this topic, UA has significantly improved the SFO-IAD redeyes for the time being, which are now a 788 and a 752 (the latter technically not a widebody I suppose, but still a huge improvement over a 737).

Scrolled back a couple pages but didn't see this posted, UA is running a 787 IAD-DEN and DEN-IAD most days. Why fly nonstop DTW-DEN when I could do DTW-IAD(LH Lounge)-DEN...

starting when? They’ve been 737s even as of a few days ago and just check the next week or so and still 737s

Seems to be sporadically starting in May.

I saw Friday 5 April when i flew ORD-MCO UA was operating a 763 EWR-MCO and back but did not see it scheduled on uacargo.com. Also a bunch of 752 rotations on same route as well.

Fondly remember the IAD-LAX pm widebodies for many years, including the 744. Not much widebody love on that route lately.

The 752's rotate through the EWR-MCO route routinely, as MCO is a 757 maintenance base. Makes for a nice easy upgrade too, depending on time of year.

On a totally unrelated note, catching another Dreamliner 787-10 home SFO-EWR today. Ever so grateful for Premium Plus seats ... I'm #16 on the upgrade list (which is booked full) --with a GPU applied.

I see the ghetto 772 on DEN-LAX frequently, and avoid it like a CRJ-200. Almost no chance for an upgrade. If you do get a last minute upgrade, good chance you land in one of the hated middle-of-the-middle seats in the 8 across coffin-class. Meanwhile it's cattle-car at its worst in the back. They can't retire these soon enough for me.

My Wife was on the 77L Polaris bird from IAD to SFO Monday and she said the seat and entertainment options where great but the food was typical UAL bland and she only ever saw 2 FA's trying to work a 50 seat premium class cabin?!? It was a 5 hour and 23 minute flight.

Comparatively her DAL flight from SFO to ATL last friday in a regular Delta F cabin on a 739 was leaps and bounds better for food and service than her UAL "Polaris" experience.

Oh Scott Kirby if you want to be a great airline you have to hire enough people to make it great.
