Discrepancy using UA app and same day change
 

Three of us had conflicting results trying to use same day changes on a recent flight. We were all 3 booked on the same flights. One gold member, two general members. One of the general members was offered three different flight change options for a change fee of $75. The gold member and the other general member were not offered ANY options to change the flight. We checked at the same time using the UA app for each reservation. How can this un equal treatment occur?
