When Will United Update Its Website?
Does anyone know the plan for when UA will up date it's website and support systems,the old continental site is pretty ugly and is not very smart around dates and some of the protocols, I also struggle to understand why it takes so long to post mileage on UA flights :confused:

They've been saying "summer" so who knows. BTW, I doubt the posting of miles has anything to do with the website. The website really just pulls together a bunch of data and displays it. |
I'd assume the website would have a similar look/feel to the mobile apps. The look/feel for those have been harmonized, website should be next.

While the old UA could update their mileage system in real time, all updates on the CO mileage system are done through batch jobs. Even if you get CS bonus miles for an issue, it takes a day or so to post (unlike the old UA). So it's not so much about flights not being able to post quickly, it's about anything being able to post. They simply don't have that capability with their current design. |

Well...on the old UA site it seem to update quicker and sometimes my Star flights on other carriers get in before my UA sectors on the same ticket. ....
