NRT to EWR WL at booking and then clearned on 2/14/14. |

Fare: W Didn't get outbound, so I'm hoping return I'll get it, but I'm not holding my breath. It's a 787, which was 'nice'--definitely nicer than the previous, seat-wise. Will never understand why UAL can't clear an empty seat for 1Ks. I will NEVER, EVER understand this. |

Lightly loaded Y, I think I could have had a three seat to my self if I hadn't upgraded. My first international lay flat experience. I didn't think I was going to get it since it took so long to clear, and when I checked in it offered to upgrade me for $5,000. Not usually a good sign. |

So, I've used up all 6 GPU's I got. (don't ask me how or why) Now, I should wait until I qualify for 1K again later this year? Is there any other way to get upg?
