Aircraft registration / tail number for past UA / CO flights
Anyone able to say which aircraft registration operated UA822 on Sunday 28th October 2012? MEX-IAD.
It was an A319, but I forgot to note it's registration for my records...
I've tried FlightStats, flightradar24 and Acars but they don't mention the reg.

Little known trick...you can adjust the dates in the UA mobile site to find the nose number.
https://mobile.united.com/FlightStat...2-841f5815c44f
so N835UA is the tail

I've definitely gotten numbers from up to a week prior, so I know it's possible. However, I think it may depend. I don't know exactly how long the data is there before it's purged.

Aircraft registration for past flights
I am updating my flightmemory.com with all the flights I have taken a couple of years ago. I have kept all the boarding passes, therefore I know the basic flight information and I can remember the aircraft in most cases, but of course I do not know or failed back then in getting the aircraft registration.
Has anyone an idea of how I can find out that information.
I tried a google search and on airliners.net there was a link to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics but once there it says that the link is broken.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

By the way, I have always hated the location of CO's (now UA's) tail numbers. They are very hard to see compared to the old UA tail number location.

Under Detailed Statistics, click Departures, set your filters and voila. It's intended use is on-time statistics for every flight, but the tail number is included as part of the stats.

Thank you very much for the offer. I was able to get most information from the website listed above. Granted AA with their weird system made things much harder to figure out the actual registration.
However I could not find any information on some Mesaba Airlines (NWA) flights that I took from EVV to MEM.
I also could not find any international flight information. I found one site that helps with London arrivals and departures.
Do you have access to international flight logs on UA, DL, LH, NW and SAA?
Btw, it is funny how many times I rode in the front on NW, DL and CO as a lowly Silver and how many times I do it now as a 1K. Times have changed and not for the better unfortunately!!

Thank you!
I have been keeping track of tail numbers since 1990! It is great to know that I can find missed numbers from now on.

Is there a way to lookup old flight status info from more than one day ago?

My father was on UA835 ORD-PVG 6/1 and UA836 PVG-ORD 6/9. He said there was no power on that plane (in Y) eventhough when he called to make his reservation he was told there would be. I looked up the status of today's flight and a few others and they all have power and thought it was strange since they often use the same plane and have power on planes for flights that long. I'm wondering if they switched equipment recently.
