I don't think there is a web-form online that allows you to change your FF#. (I believe it is hard-wired to your account, whereas you can change any other account info).

You can try contacting them at:

Email: [email protected]. (Please include your full name in your message. For security purposes, please do not include your credit card information in your email.)
Phone: 1–800–555–5116 (9 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET, M-F)
Or simply, create a new account and un-link your credit cards from the older account.

I once UNLINKED my CC from my account, then put it in my GF's account, and they closed my account. I know i'm not suppose to put it in TWO accounts, therefore I UNLINKED it first before I put it in her account. Was this wrong of them? Or is that part of the T&C and I missed it?

Can I double dip in the MPdining program?

I just signed up for the UAMP dining program. I am also signed up with the USDM dining program. I did not realize that both were operated by Rewards Network. Both accounts are registered to the same email and same credit cards.

Will I receive miles in both programs? We're not talking about a ton of miles. I am just curious.

Thanks.

No, you can't. The credit card you use will only be linked to the most recent program you signed up with, either UA, US Air, Hilton... It will be de-linked from the other program you had.

Tried that too, won't work. You'll get an email from the dining network stating that:

'one of the cards linked to this account has been moved to another miles program'.

Here is how I do it

I am part of USDM and I use my UA Chase VISA so I get miles with both programs, not quite the same thing but you still get miles.

Now this isn't via dining but a way to get more miles. Buy $50 iTunes G/C from Best Buy using http://www.mileageplusshopping.com, you will earn 50 miles (1 mile per $1), plus you get Reward Zone points ($5 for every $250 spent), you can then earn 50 miles for the charge if you have UA Visa (or any airline for that matter), when you go buy stuff from iTunes, go back to the store and get 1-4 miles per $1 spent. It is extra work but it allows me to earn miles on two, or even three airlines at the same time off a single purchase.

The iDine/Rewards Network forum has a lot more information on these programs too.

So far so good for me...especially when I found out the place I'll grab a juice or coffee in the mornings is one of them so I just used that everyday for 2 weeks to get to the VIP level at 5 miles/$1 spent.

With my favorite place just around the corner when 4-5 friends and I go out and eat or drink I just have them all give me the cash and I use my card and I'm getting 800-1200 miles on that each week plus my usual dining out I do.

The other nice thing is that you don't have to think about it and now and then you'll get an email asking for the review of the place and showing you that you were at a participating restaurant.

That's the best part, when i'm surprised i visited a MP participating restaurant. Almost as if I just won the lotto. Ok, not really...

When I get those I think "Sweet!....now how many people can I get together to go back and pay me cash and put it on my card!"

i LOVE friends who aren't into the M&P game, i always do that as much as i can. Although it can backfire. One time there was a big bill and everyone started taking out their cash and one guy beat me to it: "Oh i'll just put it on my card and you guys just give me the cash!". I didn't know him well so I couldn't fight with it. :)

But it's great if you live in a big city since MP diners are in abundance. VIP MP Dining + CSP is 7 pts/dollar!

Got an email offering 3000 miles with two dines and a bunch of other criteria. ONe of the dines must be $40 minimum and you have to post reviews.

Anyone else get this?

Anyone doing it?

I received a similar offer a couple weeks ago and the miles have already posted. I love this program as we eat out a couple times a week. The bonuses really make it worthwhile. A couple years ago I earned 10,000 bonus miles in addition to the 1000 or so that I earned. I can redeem miles at a value of 1.5 cpm pretty easily, so for me that is about a 16.5% rebate on dining with the bonus included.

So I'm a bit new to this. Would this program keep my points from expiring?

If I read the TC correctly, your miles expire if you haven't earned any for 18 months... so this could be a painless way to reset the clock.
