Upgrade Waitlist Order
My wife and I booked a ticket as one PNR, then separated the PNRs after initial booking. We have identical status, are booked on identical tickets at the identical time. I recently cleared an upgrade on one leg of the trip but she did not. Why would this be the case? What would put me ahead of her in u/g waitlist order?

Tickets are issued serially, not in parallel. There is always a sequence in which they are purchased, even if they are on the same PNR. |
