Combining e-certs post merger

Couldn't see if this has been addressed so my apologies if it's somewhere. I posted it on the CO pre-merger forum but I don't know if anyone goes there anymore. :)

Is it possible to combine two e-certs for one person? Do you have to call web support?

Also, can e-certs be used on multi-city itineraries?

It will usually state that in the terms and conditions of the e-cert. I know that usually E-Certs cannot be redeemed for multi city flights, it has to be a roundtrip or a one way ticket. Do you know the type of E-cert that you have?

If its a former CO/current UA voucher you should be able to use everything until all of the value is gone. For former UA vouchers you cannot use any residual value.

I would try calling web support if no one else knows any more info.
