UA.com partially corrects CO-coded flight problem

I made a comment about this in another thread earlier in the week but I thought I would start a new thread to talk about the changes UA.com has made with CO-coded flights.

I have a reservation that is wholly operated by UA but wholly coded with CO flights. I booked this ticket a month ago and like many others have reported it, too, had the problem of showing class of service as "NF" with Upgrade: Pending.

Some time late last week UA.com made some changes and my flights correctly showed "S" class with Upgrade: Pending. Yesterday came the UDU window for my outbound flights and the first flight didn't upgrade while the second one did. This is where there are still issues:

1. My first outbound flight does not show Upgrade: Waitlist or Upgrade anything for that matter. The flight shows as "S" and that's it. With UA flights you get a second flight entry in your reservation with "NF" and Upgrade: Waitlisted. I think this has been a problem with UA showing CO-coded flights in the past but not 100% sure. So this problem isn't fixed. I called UA reservations last night as I was sitting in SFO waiting for my flight and they said I'm still "on the priority waitlist". Not sure what that means in UA speak...

2. The second outbound flight was upgraded and correctly shows "NF" and Upgrade: Confirmed. However, I cannot change my seat assignment on this flight. I can see the FC seat map and select the seat I want but it won't stick. I guess I have to call UA to ask them to change it?

3. This is more CO.com related but the reservation on CO's website doesn't even show I was upgraded on the second flight.

Anyone else still seeing these issues?

Thanks,
RM

I had the same seat assign issue on my last CO ticketed UA operated flight. When I got to the gate they had my boarding pass. I had called UA before hand and they told me because it was a CO ticket they couldnt assign seats and I had to go to gate.

I called UA and they moved me to the seat I wanted on the second leg. However, the website is still showing me in the original seat.

Oddly enough, after I called and they moved me to the seat I requested it is no longer showing as available on the seat map. And if I look in ExpertFlyer seat map, the seat I wanted is now occupied and the seat I was originally assigned and still shows in my reservation is showing as available.

I guess I actually have the seat I want but the web site isn't showing it for some reason. We'll see what happens when I check-in on Friday.

Yep I had the same exact problem and had to just get the correct boarding pass at gate. I was mad cuz I like the window and they assigned me aisle and it was all full.
