I booked a friend on PDX-SFO-FRA-PRG in Y+ using miles.

GlobalFirst space has opened and I can't convince myself it's worth the extra 50k miles.

There is also space on SFO-MUC-PRG in LH C but the SFO-MUC flight is currently delayed 3+ hours.

Thoughts?

I'd do LH C even with the delay. PRG is easy enough to get to from MUC if the connection is missed. No way is UA F worth the 50K miles.

With the 3 hour delay it's possible he wouldn't get to MUC until after the last MUC-PRG flight had left. He's not a frequent traveler so I'm not sure I want to put him in that spot.

Hrm, that does change the dynamic a bit. That's still a long ride in E+.

You know those things they warn about in airline mags? I need to remind myself hours of stairs followed by long car rides have the same effect
