Nice discount. Too bad I just bought HEX tickets! Rats.

And as I keep pointing out, it's only true if your final destination is near Paddington (HEX) or Victoria (GEX)

This reminds me. I have two 50% off vouchers for the HEX that I swapped with another flyertalker recently. They expire on 13th April (next Thursday) so if anyone is able to use them by then please PM me and I'll post them to any UK address by first class post, with my compliments. I received a free HEX ticket last time so didn't need the vouchers as I thought.

Nice post!! Just booked single return tickets in August for six adults. The promo code saved me 20pnds. Thats about 8 pints of beer in savings. Thanks

I'm giving this thread a bump because it just saved me 6.25 GBP on return GEX tickets for this coming weekend. Thanks FT. ^^

Because when demand exceeds supply, I have no need to discount. ;)

THANKS for posting this!!!!
Will be doing an MR with a day-long layover at LGW soon, and this will make getting out of the airport much more do-able!

RichardInSF Sep 24, 2006 7:43 pm

Yeah, and it seems they require you to pick the dates you want to use the tickets but I don't see how they can enforce that. All the conductors do is check that the ticket is valid and hasn't been used yet.

In your case, the same day return fare is less than the standard return with the 25% discount of this offer. @:-)

Bump. This discount is easy to get and hugely useful, any hope of making it part of the sticky?

Be aware. The current website for LGW charges full rates!

Even though my LGW-Victoria fare was confirmed at £10.50, they took £14 from my card account. :td:
