TYP / TK Transfer Problem?
Hi all- I transferred 50K TYP to TK last Wednesday (11/25) after putting a hold on an EWR-OGG J flight on UA metal. About 60 hours came and went before I started to get antsy, and I saw some advice on r/awardtravel to try transferring an additional 1K TYP to push it through. The 1K went through with no problem within 24 hours, but I'm still missing the 50K five days and six hours later. My reservation was "purged" in the language of the TK CSR.
After a lot of HUCA, I was able to make a new reservation today for different dates, but now the clock starts again for the hold expiring before the transfer arrives. On Citi's site, the order shows as "fulfilled", so it seems the problem is on the TK side. I initiated an online feedback inquiry, and, yesterday, received an email back form TK saying "So that we can investigate your feedback, we ask that you send us a mileage transfer documentation by checking the “Previous feedback” option on our feedback page. As soon as we’ve received the relevant documents, we’ll start the necessary investigation." I sent them screenshots of the Citi order and the summary, but it's been 27 hours and I haven't heard anything back. Anyone have any experience with this? Citi won't escalate until it's been 14 days, and I really don't want to lose this reservation again. Many thanks from an anxious award booker. |
