I would be interested in the result as well. I already gifted three elite status and currently have less than 40k miles, so should not be able to gift elite at all.

When I try to gift it to someone I already gifted it, it allows me to paste the number, and another popup says "You are about to treat member no. 25XXXXXXXX (X**** Z*******) to an Elite Card, in exchange for 40000 Miles. Do you confirm the transaction?"

When confirming, the error message is "You do not have enough Miles for this transaction.", nothing about my exceeded limit of three gifts.

Now it would be really interesting what happens if I would have enough miles and gift it to someone new.

Unfortunately there is, lacking inside knowledge of the system, no reason to get any hope up that it will work just because the error message is not related to exceeding three gifts.

Any system like this will typically only check and report one disqualifying reason at a time, so perhaps the first check in the system is that you have enough miles. If you do not, there is no need to proceed to check if there are any other things that disqualify you (e.g., having gifted to many times already), since already it knows you do not qualify on the "not enough miles" check alone.

Any update here? It seems there are contradicting answers. Has anyone checked with Turkish Airlines support?

Some of the answers in here are definetly incorrect, i.e. that you can give a gift card to one person only one time. I have given the card already twice to my wife...

Dear Schnefti, I would like to do the same thing. Does the Elite Gift Card comes with 2 vouchers as well so we can enjoy the Upgrades together? Are those vouchers available as soon as you get your E+ card? Thanks!
