Well - at least now we (TK E, TK E+, *G) have one piece of 23kg extra - used to be just 10kg extra.

Forgive me but I don't see this info listed anywhere and as always TK's communication skills leave alot to be desired. From what I can understand, they're saying that SOME routes are now 1x23kgs, however the only way you can find out which routes these are is by checking your ticket.

On that page, it clearly says
Baggage allowance will vary depending on flight route and flight class. The sum of the length, width and height of a piece of standard baggage may not exceed 158 cm.
While on the "USA Free Baggage Rules" page, it says
Under the new concept, Business Class baggage allowance on flights arriving in/departing from the USA will be 2x32 kg.
Economy Class baggage allowance will either be 2x23 kg or 1x23 kg, depending on the route.
So ultimately the only way you will be able to know for a fact what your official baggage allowance is would be by checking your ticket, or if TK creates a chart.

I think the baggage allowance really varies greatly in the past. It used to be 30kg ex-LON as well.

So when I fly TK to/from MIA I can still check in my 2 bags plus an additional piece with my *G?

Also, does the extra allowance apply to just to the member only like on LH or for the whole party like on UA?
