Hotsauce, if I were you, I will continue to check diligently for cancellation at SLC Global Entry office. You may very well find something much sooner.

Appointment slots open up all the time, especially during hours that the offices are open. Keep checking.

Sure. Approximate time for what? I walked into the office, waited 30 seconds for a Customs agent to come to the counter and was told they don't do walk-ins at all. We then spent like 15 minutes talking about stuff, including how I liked CLEAR (she was asking all sorts of questions).

So, walk in to walk out time 15 minutes.
Walk in time to be turned away, 1 minute.
Conversation time was ~15 minutes.

Nothing productive happened, so I wasted my time. If you don't have an appointment, you don't have a chance at sweet talking one to occur if you just show up.

You have to schedule the appointment within 30 days. The appointment you schedule does not have to be within 30 days.
