Great TR with wonderful pictures. Thank you, it is nice to see something a little different like rail journeys now and again. Don't give up writing these, I am sure that I am not alone in enjoying reading them and looking at the creative images.

Well, thanks for introducing me to another part of the world via this well published report. Eigg has quite the history (read the Wikipedia version).

That looks like a good menu - especially given the relatively short length of the ride from London to York. Most certainly beats the complimentary First Class biscuit options of many TOCs, which, if you don't mind me saying, takes the biscuit!

This is not a trip report, but the work of an artist. Fantastic for people who love Scotand and thank you for the photos!

you cannot beat Yorkshire Fish & Chips. - try the Magpie Cafe if you venture to Whitby and the NE Coast next time. You will queue but the haddock has me drooling now!

Married a Yorkshire Lass so know what you are talking about 2.
