Cathedral
The Cathedral is in the Barri Gotic and the most important gothic church in Barcelona.
The inner room is classical gothic with a rood screen, choir stalls and richly decorated side chapels.
In the crypt is the tomb of Santa Eulalia who should be martyred in 303.
With a not really trustworth looking elevater you reach the roof which can be accessed by an also shady looking construction. But both worked fine.
From the roof you enjoy nice views.
Last but not least the cloister with the famous 13 white geese. The number is explained by the assertion that Eulalia was 13 when she was martyred.

Pont del Bisbe
The Pont del Bisbe is quite famous. The bridge between Palau de la Generalitat and the Cases dels Canonges was constucted in 1928 by Joan Rubió. One detail is a scull with a sword under the bridge.

Great pics and report. I'll be there in June and staying at the W, and I'm looking forward to comparing! I noticed you went to the Sagrada Familia in the evening. My understanding is that in the evening, the windows give off the orange glow to represent the summer season, and in the morning the light from the other side of the windows give off a blue glow to represent winter. By any chance do you see both, and if so, which time would you recommend going?

Picasso Museum
Next we visited Picasso Museum, which is situated in an interesting building. There are some ways to it_
They have a nice collection of his works on display. Especially the early works are represented with many pieces. Unfortunately taking pictures was forbidden so no impressions here. The website shows the highlights and even a catalogue of all works.

Bubo patisserie
Next we went to Bubo Born, one of the famous patisseries in Barcelona. They have a nice selection of cakes and choclates. While not cheap the cakes were good and I can highly recommend it.
