Nice pictures as always, Dan. It bought back some memories from 2016. I did Dubrovnik, Kotor, Mostar, Sarajevo and headed onto Belgrade.

You should go back to Croatia for Plitvice lakes. You'll definitely have a field day or two with your camera.

Many thanks, lostinlondon. Definitely recommend Mario, quite a character. With my short visit, two nights in the Airbnb in the Old City was perfect since everything was handy and close by. If you had a longer stay though, a hotel outside the Old City may be better if you wanted some downtime from the crowds etc.

Thanks, gaobest. English seem to be the main language for tours. Will try again to head to NK in 2018.

Thank you, daKav. Will definitely have to head back to see more of Croatia, and hopefully Slovenia too.

I love the photos you take with the drone! Forty years ago (almost) I drove from Sarejevo to Kotor and further south but it was one country!

Thank you, londonfog. The Balkans forty years ago must have been very interesting, I guess not so many tourists then too.

Great trip report. I did a similar trip last year though starting in Zagreb-split-Dubrovnik-Kotor-Sarajevo-Zagreb. The roads were amazingly bad once we went into Bosnia from Montenegro. One of the favorite stops was in Ston, the shellfish were awesome.
