If you choose a front row seat on American your bags, of course, will have to go in the overhead locker for takeoff and landing.
It's worth remembering that the seat belt sign will not go off for a long time, most likely until the full cruising altitude is reached. This will feel like a very long time if you're waiting to grab something from up above. So, I think for me, any row but the first one has a slight advantage, allowing the floor space to be used for storage. Great report! ^^ |

Yeah the 757 was a low point... No service on the way back either save some water and nuts if you wanted!
J on the 321T is very comfortable! Currently in 6A. :) I have been on the overnight KOA-LAX flight before and they have served a pizza as a snack in F just after take off ( as it is a short night flight) -maybe they discontinued this? Regards TBS |

Once again American deliver. A great crew. Service with a smile and a refilled bloody because the previous was getting to warm :D
Food was good and I still love this seat ^ Big tailwind so due into jfk an hour early! Pics uploading... You create a problem and expect the crew to fix it... just drink quicker in future! Wha did you go for food-wise? |
Definitely no food on the koa departure.
As to the seatbelt sign.. It stays on...alot :D most don't take notice of it. 321t at lax... http://i.imgur.com/ooPt5oUl.jpg 6a http://i.imgur.com/FZ7DXd7l.jpg Menu http://i.imgur.com/0ePR6Qxl.jpg The usual :D http://i.imgur.com/7yEi9YWl.jpg Hot Bagel and cream cheese http://i.imgur.com/4uQQPRjl.jpg Breakfast http://i.imgur.com/s5z6Hfgl.jpg And just freshened up here ^ http://i.imgur.com/DfKjUFul.jpg |

I have been told over on the AA board that they will serve a light breakfast before landing if it's a night time flight. And drink service soon after take off
LAS/MIA we were offered a drink pre-departure and then nothing else. |

Service is superb. Awaiting dinner with a large GT :D |

Currently in GC south. Possibly the best TATL ever :) MORE thoughts on that soon... edit reflections this far the trip... Crazy, yes. Hard work, not as bad as expected! The great planes, lounges and crew have made it more a pleasure and I don't feel like I have flown for 4 days! :) TPs have posted until LAX on the outward leg and hopefully the rest soon to push me well into Gold ^ American... seeing as most of the trip was aboard american, what do I think? I think BA need to up their game. Hard and soft products. The planes... The 77W is a joy. The minicabin is bliss and combined with an excellent crew made for a very enjoyable experience. Everything was better than CW. The seat is stand out for me. The best sleep I have had at 34k feet :D No exceptions and I will now take the 77W for all future TATL bookings until something better comes along (or I go F ;)) The 321T was great in J and F, both very comfy and again great food and service. The 757.... need I say more?!? :D BA CE on the 319.... I'm sure you all know it! I would rate the 757 seat above it though. Best longue.... possibly Admirals LAX T4. I really liked the vibe their and the staff were very helpful with my seat moves and printing of boarding passes ^ Best moment.... everyone loves an opup into F ;) Worst..... Attempting to sleep on the KOA to LAX leg...urgh My chariot.. http://i.imgur.com/Rz48tcpl.jpg 3J..very comfortable and private http://i.imgur.com/oD8Ne0Gl.jpg Pre departure bubbles http://i.imgur.com/1umtWG6l.jpg Menu http://i.imgur.com/uLeLP3Ll.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mrBICXml.jpg Keep them coming! http://i.imgur.com/SGps8Pnl.jpg Dinner. Amazing. Piping hot and great flavour. http://i.imgur.com/I7mQUh3l.jpg Dessert http://i.imgur.com/AR62QuEl.jpg Breakfast although was too full to finish it! http://i.imgur.com/Gh3a30sl.jpg Approach into LHR http://i.imgur.com/A0YzOjll.jpg |
I am surprised that you chose Admerials LAX as best lounge. I have been in there about 6 times and find it dire, even when the cookies are out. Now the Flagship on the other side is better than the Flounge .
