Washington, DC

Now, first - I'll be up front. I live just outside Washington DC, but got the chance this last week to play tourist, and really discover everything this city has to offer. I plan on posting in this thread what we discovered this weekend, along with some tips for people who are visiting. I'll split this into around five parts, and with that, here we go. Feedback, as always, is welcome.

Day I - From Foggy Bottom to the US Capitol, and to the Washington Monument
Day II - US Capitol and Library of Congress
Day III - Restaurants, American History Museum, Old Post Office Pavilion

Love DC. So great that you can leisurely plan your own walking tour with your pre-selected highlights or book something more formal to review history you thought you knew.

I've been here over 15, and haven't probably done it in 10 years. It's good to have company visit who wants to be shown around!
