Great report. Glad you enjoyed your trip here, and also, didn't even have a negative comment about the little BA F room @ SFO
Did you board right from the lounge? (If you mentioned it, I didn't see.)

What an excellent report! Thank you for posting this!
Bravo. Most excellent indeed. If that was your first effort, then I can't wait to read a TR of yours in a year or so...when you have some more travel under your belt.
And I agree with the other comments - it's terrific to read a TR with such infectious enthusiasm. You did a brilliant job with the photos and I don't think there is anyone here on this forum who doesn't (or wouldn't) aspire to flying BA F after reading along with you.
Well done. And written by a lawyer no less...

Thanks for your comments matthandy. Yes, I sent in a well done for the guy. He was great. Well done's probably don't mean much in practice, but I suppose it's nice to be appreciated!Originally Posted by matthandy
The F purser sounds fantastic, hope that you sent in a well done for him, so that your comments are passed on to him and his manager.

Great photos which speak volumes by themselves and glad you enjoyed the F experience with NF and in 1K too!
Thanks PETER01 - I curtailed myself with how many photos I posted on here. There are only so many pics of the Golden Gate Bridge that people can look at Originally Posted by PETER01

The F food seems to have improved and what great cabin crew you had. ^
Thanks HIDDY - I set my expectations low going by what I had previously read on the BA Forum and these were subsequently massively exceeded which made me very happy.Originally Posted by HIDDY

Thanks for your nice comments. Yes, sorry, we boarded straight from the lounge. The lounge attendant came in and announced to all 14 of us that we could board whenever we wanted but that they were ready for us from that point onwards.Originally Posted by Eastbay1K

) I think I perhaps bugged my travel companion with my enthusiasm on the actual trip. Not that I care - this was my first time in the pointy bit! Thanks for the excellent trip report! I'll be doing return HEL-LHR-SFO in CW with my other half in March and we have been considering to ask for a paid upgraded at the airport (As a Finnair Plus members, we have no BA miles to use for upgrade). After reading you report, I am even more convinced that we should aim for the First class on the outbound flight.
What hotel did you stay in during your stay in San Francisco, by the way?

Great TR with fantastic pics, thanks for sharing. I will be in SFO in March and am keeping my fingers crossed for NF

Smashing first TR!^
You're absolutely right about no going back to whY after F - thus is the curse and burden of premium travel!

We stayed at the Intercontinental on Howard Street. Great hotel - I've been there before. And as you can see, if you get a room on the higher floors, you get some amazing views. There is something nice about sleeping with the curtains open and waking up to amazing views over SF every morning!
Top notch report, well written & fantastic photo's.
Just booked LHR - MIA CW (WT+ MFU) in November this week.
Not flown CW for over 10 years now so very excited, used to do Aberdeen - Gatwick - Houston once or twice or month.
Once we get CW ticked off the list this year, aiming for NF next year to SFO or LAX.
