Smoking airlines?
There is some smoking flights in Asia, America or Europe? If yes, wich airlines?
|
Not in the United States at all. Also I know no Western European airline allows it.
If there are any airlines out there that allow it, it's a very small number with very limited networks... |

All flights and flight sectors that originate or terminate in Australia have to be non-smoking, regardless of the policy of the airline, and I think lots of countries have similar regulations.
Honestly, if you can't stand it I think that patches is probably the best answer... |
Maybe some of the airlines in Myanmar. I have no personal knowledge of them, but if I had to make a wild guess as to your best chance for finding one where it was still legal, maybe there.
Your best bet might be to try an airline on which smoking is not allowed but where you might get away with it through either a bribe or staff indifference/incompetence. Aeroflot comes to mind. Or Saudi Arabian, Air India, Ariana, or Pakistan International Airlines. Maybe Tarom or Bulgaria Air. I have flown most of these, and feel like I could have snuck a cigarette if I really wanted to. |
I don't smoke but I'm doing a research for the university and I can't find this information anywhere... So there is no "big" airline that allows smoking in flight? Even not Air Jordanian, Air Korean, Air China, etc ?

This list is 6 years old, even then very few allowed it - http://hem.passagen.se/fungus/airlines.html
This was a smoker's airline which failed to take off - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smintair |
Looking at the list... short even then, and I suspect most of them have gone non-smoking since. I know that Air Algerie has (much to the amazement of my Algerian-born friends).
There were some German charter airlines that allowed smoking long after scheduled carriers in Europe had gone non-smoking... but I think they've probably all gone non-smoking now too. |

Sorry to disappoint, but there are no smoking airlines in Myanmar. Having flown on each of them I can personally attest to this.

There may be one
Air Cubana I think still allows it;)
|
Kuwait Airlines
Kuwait Airlines, which used to have the route O'Hare to Amsterdam (then onbound to Kuwait from Amsterdam) still allowed smoking on board.
For such a rich country, definitely a backward airline in my view because they required booking by phone rather than online. |
