A few years ago I did a SEA-ANC-SEA MR on the Fourth (and still haven't gotten credit for it - :mad: ) and we were arriving in SEA a bit after 10PM. That's already one of my favorite approaches because it's such a dramatic view over downtown and Lake Washington, but this night was really stunning. You could see fireworks shows all over the Sound, including the big ones in Elliott Bay and Bellevue, plus scads of little personal shows in neighborhoods around the area. We were low enough that you could clearly notice the difference in height of the big guys vs. the little ones.

It's a very different experience seeing them from the other side, and I would love to be able to manage it again sometime.
