The people with reservations for those flights go. I should think if they bumped those people to accommodate travelers delayed by weather that the bumpees would be due compensation. Not to mention the nightmare of rebookings it would cause their already bogged down systems.

Well, I agree with you, but I think they should keep the travel waiver in effect for those who can delay their travels or don't want to at all to help get the stranded people out.

I think that would be a very feasible idea.
