People who use my aisle seat back as a handrail while walking up and down the aisles. Or even worse, they'll just lean on it while waiting to use the lav. ARRGH! HULK SMASH!

Believe me, I find 'gate lice' annoying too.

Nowdays all of us have allot less patience and we like to carry on suitcases, steamer trunks and tuba collections, rather than check them and wait in baggage claim. :p Additionally, we are all very protective of our comfort and space, so almost everything that we carry on goes into the overhead rather than under the seats.

I'll bet that if you surveyed the next pack of lice that you find yourself immersed in, you'd find that they are interested in stowing their bags, not being the first to sit down.

imho, there'd be allot less lice if carry on limits were enforced/reduced.

Lice might be the lesser of two evils...

People who think moving walkways are carnival rides.

Hmm, I seem to remember gate lice not being a huge problem in the days immediately after the liquid ban (boarding was extremely quick too), so I think you do have a point.

Very interesting analysis, in a way that I didn't think about before. Thanks. :)

My pet peeve are people who put their feet up on my arm rest. Argh. From now on, I've learned to jab the feet with a sharp object.

Sorry that was me but man the way they cram you into those coach seats it is the only way a big guy like me can stand up.

But I warn the person in front first. I hope that helps

I can't stand it when people take their shoes off inflight and share their foot odor with the rest of us. If your shoes don't stink, by all means, make yourself comfortable, but if I can smell your feet 2 rows behind you, then it's time to put the shoes back on and maybe buy some Odor Eaters too.

Read me: http://www.ratisher.com/cells_and_airports.htm

I wrote it over 3 years ago and it's as pertinent now as it was then.

another reason why i have to do that is for balance. its harder to maintain my balance using arm rests than the top of the seat in front (think about the way the forces are going). would you rather be the person in front whose seat i pull on for a few secs or the person in the aisle whose lap i fall into because i try to balance myself using armrests?

my pet peeve: people with low tolerance that make themselves known. its ok to whine, just keep it in your head (or this webboard).

cheers

The public. I really need to have my own airplane, like Air Force 1.

Something went askew in my destiny, it wasn't supposed to be like this.

No, these planes should be carried to the nations that are the USA's so-called enemies and dropped on selected targets as "smart bombs" upon their detonation upon impact. This would be a better use for them than as flying passenger carrying devices.
