Yea, what he said!!!!!! Actually depends on what class I end up in... I REALY enjoy most 1st wines (usually white, mostly UA flights), but reality sometimes means a good $5 domestic beer, or even a bottle of water. It always irks me to pay the same amount for a beer as I would for a six pack (or a 12 pack of the cheap stuff), but they do have a captive audience!

Now it looks like I'll be paying for H2O soon!

What is Coach for a drink ;) ? At least in Europe we get free alcoholic drinks in lounges and on board...

Jack and Coke. And keep 'em coming.

I really like Mr & Mrs T's Bloody Mary Mix and also LaCroix Sparkling Water.

747LWW Dec 28, 2006 6:30 pm

On international and domestic , mostly water or diet cola.

It's apple juice and water for me. I find it difficult to sleep on planes and drinking caffeinated beverage makes it worse.

Arizona2 Dec 28, 2006 6:43 pm

I always drink Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke, but my husband always drinks orange juice, which I find strange since he never drinks it at home...

haole Dec 28, 2006 6:46 pm

cognac/ginger ale in first, when flying to vietnam, vodka/orange juice and lots of water.

They say that taste buds are less sensitive when you're flying, maybe the presumably flatter/milder taste is pleasing to your palate. I went through a tomato juice/bloody Mary mix kick, thinking it was healthier. But neither of them really tasted all that good, and then I happened to notice the sodium content

I usually carry on a 16-oz or 1-liter bottle of water (now reluctantly bought from the airport vendor), and I order sparkling water, plus wine with dinner if I'm flying overnight. And maybe a cognac on SK or LH...

Nothing would induce me to touch airline coffee.

N751PR Dec 28, 2006 6:58 pm

Water, orange juice, and lots of Sprite/7UP/anything lemon-lime and fizzy...

Marathon Man Dec 28, 2006 7:26 pm

I like to have red wine a lot but sometimes I just flirt with the FA and then, when she's not lookin I steal a bunch of those little bottles 'O booze from the cart and then ask for many soda mixers to go with. Tee hee hee

;)MM

gee, after eating what they feed ya in economy, you deserve a few anyway!

Funny - I actually like the coffee on NW. No other airline, though. CO is the worst imho.

Other than, or sometimes along with the coffee its water. Beer and other booze in the air makes me feel crappy.

On short haul: Diet Coke (even if I have to bring my own - I'll have none of that Pepsi rubbish), or Sparkling Mineral Water/Club Soda.

On long haul: Champagne to start, a glass or two of white wine with dinner, and Diet Coke in between.

Just keep that foul-smelling stuff called "coffee" away from me! It, literally, makes me want to puke. Thankfully, most of the coffee surved on aircraft dosent have a strong aroma.
