I'm sure walking from one end of Terminal A to ther other end of Terminal C must be getting on for 2 1/2 miles, last year I ran/hobbled that, the same day I got my cast off after breaking my leg, talk about pain....

2.5 miles = 13200 feet
DFW runway length = 13401 feet

If the planes could fly through the terminals they could take off :eek:

DTW is a mile from end to end. Fortunately there's the monorail thingy.

Apparently gate 46 which is hardly ever used is a 2 mile walk from the check-in area. That is if you don't use the occaisional moving walkway. He said they calculate 30 minutes for the crew to get there.


Absolute rubbish, you could walk to the furthest gate at the south terminal and it wouldnt be 2 miles, and i know ive walked it.

The only 2 mile walk at Gatwick would be from the ST checkin area to some of the stands by the 180s!
