As an aside to this thread, what happens when all of the airport codes are used up ?
I calculate that there are a possible 17576 three letter codes (feel free to correct this number), I'm not sure how many airports there are worldwide but there's certainly several thousand. Maybe they will add a number, or a fourth letter, or use a letter from another alphabet such as Thai or Korean. Or maybe we'll never have that many airports. Doug |
