A Flyertalk Game: Terminal Entertainment
Each month I get a newsletter in the apartment I am in and each time there is a quiz where you can enter and win $100. This month's had a distinctive Flyertalk theme and thought I'd get the answers here but that the thread had possibility of becoming something of a quiz, so here we go:
1) This airport has 3,100 slot machines located in Terminals 1 & 2. I'm guessing LAS 2) There's a putting green in the terminal and a bar that rents putters and balls for $4 3) Terminal 2 has a Kids on the Fly airport themed play area 4) There are 20 accreditted museum galleries located throughout this West coast airport I know SFO has a small museum, never used the domestic terminal though.... 5) Hospitality host hand out cookies or seasonal gifts at this Midwestern airport Every answer warrants the production of a new question. Please try and keep to a vaguely 'airport' theme with the question :) Play safe ;) Fraser |

2 other airports that popped in my head as answers to this question: DCA and IAD (ok, IAD might be a bit of a stretch though....) |

The Smithsonian at Dullas has the Enola Gay. The Museum is in a 'terminal' so they say. I have been there and it is a treat to see. I encourage anyone that has time to go and see it. You can walk thru it in less than an hour, but take more time if you can. |

I've a lengthy layover at Dulles on 24 Dec, I always thought I'd have to go off airport, the long way round down Rte 28 to see the Udvar-Hazy. Can I really access it (presuming it is open of course) without too much hassle? My other option is 5hrs in RCC, ACs and the small BA lounge! Just take a taxi, you can see the building off the runways there. I hope it is open for your sake, it is a real treat to see the 707, Concord, Enterprise, Enola Gay, SR-71 Blackbird, and other things. I was there within the first month of opening, so not all things were on display as they were still adding to the exhibts. |
