ATH? Mediterranean? ;)

I'd guess CPT as well, having never flown there it is as good as on Indian and Atlantic (and Southern Ocean if you count anything south of the Cape of Good Hope as Southern)

I hadn't thought of that one...I guess I had just always figured it was corporate sponsorship (cf. Staples Center, RCA Dome) :p

PSP. Technically, not in the terminal, as half of the terminal is outside.

What's the only airport to have a more technically complex backup system for baggage handling than the primary system?

IAH became George Bush Intercontinental
ATL became Hartsfield Jackson Int'l

Where is Lincoln Airport in Chicago? :D

My original question said "since 1998" (cuz that's when DCA was renamed) but IAH was renamed in 1997. Let's still count it, however, and yes, ATL was one of the other two I knew of.

There's still at least one more major U.S. airport that has recently modified its name that still hasn't been identified in this thread.

O.K. Technically they are "seas" not oceans, but final approach to Athens (ATH) from the West would take one over harbors facing both the Adriatic and Aegean seas.

Here's an easy one: Which airport is named after a Renaissance artist?

What US airport has a 3000 gallon salt water aquarium, with live coral and over 100 fish?

I'm suprised that no one has gotten these...

Here's a hint for each:

The first one *is not* west of the Rockies.

The aquarium in the second is in the airport's the food court.

For you ...

1) This airport has 3,100 slot machines located in Terminals 1 & 2.
I'm guessing LAS
LAS is right.

2) There's a putting green in the terminal and a bar that rents putters and balls for $4
Palm Beach. Sam Snead's Tavern there has the putting green concession.

3) Terminal 2 has a Kids on the Fly airport themed play area
ORD

4) There are 20 accreditted museum galleries located throughout this West coast airport.

Yes, it's SFO.

5) Hospitality host hand out cookies or seasonal gifts at this Midwestern airport
Fort Wayne, Indiana
