London-Vienna
Please can somebody tell me what is the best and good priced flight between those 2 cities.Easy jet does not fly to Vienna.
Thanks |
OS and BA both fly, check out their websites for some good deals. Ultimately it may be cheaper to fly LTN-ZRH on Easyjet and take a train or another flight onto Vienna, if you are on a tight budget

We both paid about $180 (I booked mine on the UK site of Austrian - it was 96 pounds, I think). I'm working on a trip report; I've detailed my OS flight to VIE here.

One Hour by train or bus. Most LCC services to London arrive at Stansted (STN), and there is a list of destinations and airlines that go there on the Stansted web site - www.baa.com, follow the "Stansted" link. |
Indeed - SkyEurope also flies STN-BTS, with a connecting coach service to VIE and Vienna itself. Alternatively, Air Berlin flies STN-VIE. Both options are infinitely better than Eire O'Flot.

One can always try priceline when all others fail. ;)

I did look at LCC when planning my trip, but decided to remain mainline The prices were similar in my case. On my trip, flying OS also allowed me to accrue EQM on United, as well as through check my luggage from LAX-LHR-VIE, so I didn't have to enter the UK and deal with immigration, customs, and security. These were all nice benefits to me.

One option would be to take Lufthansa LCC daughter Germanwings through Cologne. The advantage there is that they fly out of Gatwick instead of Stansted so it's possible to connect to a flight to/from the US.
