Best Airline Lounge for Me/
Hey folks trying to process all the information out there on airline lounges.
Maybe you can point me to a correct thread or offer advice.
Heres my situation:
I fly primarily G4 out of PIA and LAS...Of course G4 has nothing at all
Continental has a Presidents club in that terminal.
I also fly UA and AA some.
Here are my questions:
If I buy a UA or Continental, do they enforce the rule on having a ticket for the day or not really.
Is one of the two between the above better than the other.
Or should I buy a Priority pass. (I like the idea of not having to pay for my GF every time i enter, thus looking at the above)
also any top card promo or special i should use as of today.

If I were you I would double check on "the rule on having a ticket for the day " as I don't believe either UA or CO require a same day ticket (actually I know they do not) to visit the lounge. All you need is your membership card and an ID.
That may make your decision a bit easier.
There has also been some recent priority pass discussion about the lower number of lounges available:

You may want to keep an eye on that thread too.

The merger is not for a while.
It may matter, UA may not let you on the free internet if you don't have a UA card. CO doesn't care, they let anybody on. Edited to add - PC members do in fact get free internet at RCC clubs. My mistake.
I'm not sure that there are any other differences. CO's rates go up July 1 so keep that in mind too.

I belong to CO P-Club and have gotten into many UA RC clubs and US Air clubs with only the P-Club card and an ID (ie no BP reqd) but you gotta ask them for a wifi card but it has been freely given every time. Check the CO site for the locations and admission info. Remember CO clubs have free booze but the others usually have a charge.

Buy whichever is cheaper if you're going that route.
