Sky High Airfare

I'm planning a trip to SJD and have found that the airfare for a nonstop flight on Continental is very high. It's something like $637 dollars per person. Any advice on how to get a cheaper fare.

SJU is a fairly expensive place to fly, absent some big sale.

First Class Flyer has to pay First Class Prices. Film at 11.

I was just about to suggest for you to book in coach.

On a serious note, perhaps you should check out CO's partners, NW and DL and see how their fares compare.

I'm finding fares to SJD of $485 on Delta out of JFK in January, albeit with a stop in ATL.

If you can be a bit flexible with your home airport and forget the non-stop, you might save a bit.

Went to Co.com and found that the fare had gone up. It's now $647 and change. For an extra 450 dollars, is it worth it to fly first class. That would be with a connection in Houston. All in first class. I'm not going myself, there will be two other people with me. I'm going back to my favorite hotel in Latin America also so I want to save so I can spend big on the room. If you haven't guessed already that hotel is Las Ventanas. I suppose I'll have to pay the "first class" type prices. Isn't life cruel.
