As g_leyser mentioned, FTers are indeed savvy. Sometimes we know the system better than airline employees! Since FTers know the system, we don't need to waste UA's resources "helping" us to figure stuff out. We spend less time on the phone and know what we want, when we want it.

Heck, the airlines should just give all FTers a 15% across the board discount. Ha!

I'd kinda like the challenge of the confrontation. So... where do I get a FT tag?

I learned about FT from an airline employee: a UA reservations agent!

I'm a prime example of why airlines shouldn't hate FT... I've flown over 37,000 miles that I wouldn't have flown this year because this community has inspired me to fly to a higher status. (and earn a free to trip on CX to HNL,AUK,MEL,HNL)

I think the hotel companies hate Bidding For Travel - it makes Priceline much less opaque!

Last week I flew out of DCA. As I was going through the screening process, the TSA agent seemed to take a very close look at my FT luggage tag.
