Yes, a very nice response from Flowerchild, which was then followed by a rather snitty response from you, Debora.

very basic italian word that deborah uses in her opening post here - I did hear it in kindergarten already ...

blairvanhorn Sep 3, 2002 4:39 am

Did we just get flamed in Italian??

Gee, I took the time to answer Debora's original question, now I'm not so sure I should have ...

Thank you for your posts. If it were not for this bottle of Italian red wine and view of the Mediterean sea plus my humor, I would idle my time elsewhere. GRAZIE!

if you take it personally, that is your problem....my problem is to transport a dog across the sea.

Per piacere...<edited the rest, but it was a choice word from my best street Italian http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/wink.gif>

Debora, welcome to FT please apologize.

Debora, I received an e-mail from you as well, though it was not full of flames. You actually apologized for any offense you may have caused me, which I thought was a good step to take.

Here is an idea:

1) Perhaps consider editing out the anatomical reference in your first post to this thread - that is what I found offensive and uncalled for.

2) Perhaps reconsider your position on cblaisd and apologize - he is one of the nicest, most helpful and upstanding contributors to these boards.

Just a friendly suggestion, of course. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...orum/smile.gif

This is an open frequent flyer forum and as such, there is no guarantee that a post will be responded to. FTers (aka Flyertalkers) respond on their own time and from the goodness of their hearts. Your question was very specific and as such perhaps the majority of us did not know the answer. This might account for the lack of many posts. Both flowerchild and blairvanhorn seem to have given thorough responses and have given you suggestions as to how to ascertain the answers you need.

Do we post about upgrade complaints? You betcha! We all seem to share that in common and thus have something to say. In fact, you will see complaints about things you may never have even thought of when it comes to flying. I'm constantly baffled by what I read. Then again, I make posts which I'm sure baffle others so what goes around does come around. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...orum/smile.gif But you know something, you will also learn about so many opportunities about which you may never have even dreamed. Take a look at the ways FTers have helped others whether it's recommendations for restaurants in Seattle, the best car service in New York, the most miles for your dollar/euro on a mileage run, just about anything. I hope you come to see what a treasure this community of flyers really is.

you are a gentleman and a sweetheart.
