You can simply use the forum to edit out the original post (click the icon that sort of looks a like a pencil & paper) and remove your comments. I'm not sure why we are not allowed to delete a previous post. There is also great software from a company called Jelsoft called vBulletin that offers many more features (preview posts, spell checking, better HTML support, etc) than offered in FT today.

The way the rates work is that they may go up or down while you're logged on, but you never pay more than the rate that was in effect when you logged on. You'll pay less if the rates go down, as if you go in the evening as more people are leaving than coming in, but you won't pay more.

However, your rate cap is reset (at least in the UK) each time you log on, so having a good rate one time is no guarantee of a good rate next time even if you carry over value in the same account. The account carries a monetary value, not a usage time value. The strategy suggested on page 1 - waiting for a good rate one time, then coming back with the same ID at a busy time another day to take advantage of it - won't work. You'll get the rate that's in effect when you come back.

I'm in an easyInternetCafe right now and I've seen the rates change. (Tottingham Court Road)

I got here at 9am and it was 4 hours for £1. I just looked at the computers around me and the going rate is 48 minutes for £1 (10:30am). I'm still at 4hrs/£1.

And it will stay there until you log off. It won't go up, because the rate in effect when you logged in is your cap, and it won't go down, because 4 hrs/£ is as good as it gets. (I've never done better than 3:20 myself, but I'm not complaining.)

If you log off before you use up your balance, go away, come back and log in again with the same account, it could be anything.
