Midway transcon First Class
Has anyone flown the 737-700 RDU-SJC service on Midway Airlines? How is seating comfort, service, food, entertainment, etc.?
I've heard that they give out DVD's on these flights, can anyone confirm?
Also, is Midway's First Class on F-100s decent? Is service on the east coast hops (TPA-RDU; RDU-LGA etc.) aboard F-100s and 737-700s any good?
Do they still fly A320s?

I guess not too many fly FC but I fly JI a lot for business but mostly on the CRJs since they are the short hops I take to DCA and PHL. The bigger planes seem to be on the FL routes or LGA & BOS. JI flies CRJs, F100s, and is ordering more 737s. They have no 320's anymore. Service in coach is friendly and they seem to get you served even on the short RDU-DCA hop compared to US Express.

I just flew Midway from IND-RDU-DEN in coach.
Outbound my RDU-DEN flight had 30 people in Coach and was fine (better than NWA), and returning there were somewhere in the mid 90s--thus making it more cramped, but not miserable. I'd say the 737 coach product on Midway beats coach on NWA and CAL.
The Canadair Regional Jets are a different story-- between IND and RDU I discovered that there is one type of plane where I do not want the window seat.

PS- Yes, I know it was backwards going from IND-RDU in order to go to DEN, but for double miles what the heck--and I saw an old friend at RDU.
